‘Superposition’ is a sculptural intervention bringing together the works of Robin Broadley and Luke Routledge under the banner of a fictional art installation and general odd job company. Both artists have a dual perspective of artist and art technician, a position where lines are often blurred between production and creation. These two modes of making overlap alongside the colliding worlds of the artists. Superposition removals & functions will pop up, in and out of A Modest Show, delivering and removing artwork throughout the programme.
The title superposition references a fundamental principle in quantum mechanics, where any two (or more) quantum states can be added together ("superposed")
