Fayre Share Fayre is the main course, a group show and central hub for A Modest Show, generously hosted in the South Gallery at the Whitworth. The exhibition brings together over 40 artists with a connection to Greater Manchester.
A Modest show with flesh, skin and bone. The theme of hospitality was born out of the conversations around legacy, agency and locality led by Arts Council England with a steering group of studio providers in the city. The group were keen to work alongside the British Art Show, to greet new audiences, visitors to Manchester after a period of isolation, to share practice, break bread and create lasting and meaningful working relationships.
